Daniel Joseph Connelly has always had a love for music, dancing, and fun! He began his career as a DJ in 2012 when a friend asked him to DJ a wedding.

​​Since then, it has become his full-time job, and he has now DJ-ed and MC-ed over 1000 weddings, dances, parties, fundraisers, and corporate  events.
Destry Hergert joined the team in 2018, was trained by Daniel, and now has 6 years of DJ experience! He has now DJ-ed over 200 weddings, dances, parties, fundraisers, and corporate  events.

His hobbies include writing, producing, and performing music, making Dj-ing the perfect side gig.                           ​

“DJ Connelly did a great job at my wedding reception. I got married last summer and had the pleasure of having him as a DJ/MC. I’ve been to weddings in the past where Daniel was the DJ. So I knew he could do the job and be good at it. Daniel has a great voice and personality for being an MC as well as a DJ. He is very nice and we had a smooth reception, moving from one event to the next. I gave Daniel a lot of songs to make a playlist out of, you can’t just chose a couple songs for a reception. He put together a fun playlist that our guests loved. It was a real party and the theme of our reception was, “good time.” that is exactly what it was. Our wedding and reception was the best it could be. Having a DJ with fun vibes was part of it. I would recommend him as a DJ/MC for an event.”

Getting married in the midst of Covid, we ended up moving our wedding date, changing the venue multiple times, and changing the time of the actual wedding the day before! “Daniel Connelly did an amazing job at our wedding. We met with him in person (makes such a difference!!) and he had a well laid out plan and template schedule for us to work with! It was so easy and he is so organized and thoughtful. He made everyone feel comfortable at our wedding and was spot on with the times, kept everything going so there wasn’t a lot of dead time, and of course played such fun music! He suggested to us that we do a dance to get everyone out on the floor without being cheesy. I can’t remember the name of the dance, but it started with husband and wife in the middle and when he gave the signal, you split and go choose a person of the opposite gender, and bring them out to the dance floor, then again when he signals, you split and everyone goes and chooses someone else. It was such a great ice breaker and my friend even used it at her wedding that was a few months later! He just did so phenomenal and I would recommend him to anyone (and I do!) he is DJ-ing a friends wedding in September and they were so glad to find someone who is affordable, accountable, and just all around great. I have now had him DJ my wedding as well as a party that I threw for my mom. He’s the best!”

“I can't say that I was too worried about who would DJ our wedding, it was just another cost in a long list of things I didn't want to pay for. I have to say that I didn't take the position too serious and didn't even think I needed to meet the DJ. And of course I couldn't have been more wrong. We received more compliments regarding DJ Connelly than we did about the food or our venue. He did more than just "Play music" he made the whole event flow. Even when my wife and I didn't realize it was time for something, Daniel was right there to remind us and offer very helpful advice. One thing that stood out was that he really paid attention to the crowd and played the right music at the right time. You can tell he knows what he is doing, we couldn't have been happier with him! My wife doesn't think this is too funny, but I am definitely hiring DJ Connelly if I get married again.”
